Welcome to the first contest I am hosting along with my fellow Stock and Resources CV partner, Cassy-Blue! The good news is: Everyone who has a digital camera (phone) and a computer can take part! You don't require to have any texture making skillset whatsoever. It's supposed to be fun and it's all about experimenting and trying something new
Oh, and: no theme. We would like to see you go wild with your imagination. But remember, it's a resource so usability is important, too.The Challenge
We challenge you to create one multifaceted texture resource that consists of at least 2 photo components.
To digitally assemble the texture from your own photo material, you can use any image editing software available to you. Don't worry, there is fantastic free software out there that I'm gonna link to below. A scanned image counts as a photo, too, so you're free to scan in material as well.
Rules
- All stock submitted must adhere to deviantART guidelines for Stock and Resources:

- The texture must be at least 1000px x 1000px in size.
- All stock submitted must be made from your own photo material only
- All stock submitted cannot be premium content or an offsite download

Submit your entry to the 'Texture Making Contest 2016' folder at Nobody. If you're not a member yet, you might have to join the group in order to submit.
Deadline
All texture entries must be submitted as a deviation in the textures category no sooner than September 1st, no later than September 30th.
The winners will be announced in the first week of October.
Judges will be mercurycode, Cassy-Blue and Nobody.
We'll judge based on creativity and usability.
